Herfst in Zuid-Tirol
Laad je batterijen op voor de naderende winter, vul je zonnenreservoirs en maak de laatste wandelingen in de Dolomieten voordat de eerste sneeuw valt: Hoe kun je dat beter doen dan tijdens een ontspannen herfstvakantie in Zuid-Tirol.
Gouden landschap
Het landschap zit vol kleurrijke contrasten, de bossen presenteren zich in levendige rood- en oranjetinten en de zonnestralen leggen de laatste hand aan druiven en appels. De eerste bergtoppen zijn al bedekt met sneeuw, maar de lucht is nog steeds diepblauw en de temperatuur is op veel plaatsen nog aangenaam warm. De kristalheldere herfstlucht zorgt voor het beste zicht op de bergen en vanaf sommige toppen kun je nu bijna het hele land zien.
Naast panoramische bergtochten heeft de herfst in Zuid-Tirol nog veel meer te bieden: In het Eisacktal begint bijvoorbeeld het zogenaamde "vijfde seizoen" - het Törggelen met veel geroosterde kastanjes, typisch boerenvoedsel en nieuwe wijn. In veel dalen komen de dieren terug van de alpenweiden, wat gevierd wordt met de traditionele Almabtrieb. In Bruneck vindt de grootste markt van Tirol - de Stegen markt - plaats, in Glurns in Val Venosta de traditionele "Sealamorkt" en een aantal andere interessante evenementen.
Zo zie je maar: In Zuid-Tirol is de herfst geen saaie, grijze of zelfs onherbergzame overgangsperiode, maar een afwisselend seizoen met allerlei spannende activiteiten. Geniet van de heerlijke en wilde herfst in Zuid-Tirol!
